Happy Christmas your arse - part deux

I found a version of the song that I posted about last Christmas, whomever hasn't heard it must, it's just too good. :-)

hehe...yep, that's a great Christmas song. Heard it for weeks on The Hits and TMF on TV here.
It has this great irish feel to it, doesn't it?

Hope your Boxing Day is good :hugs:

It certainly does, which is what I love about it so much, that and just the phrase Happy Christmas your arse. :-D The only other Christmas song that gets me on my feet quicker is Rockin Robin. Hope you had a fantastic Christmas, and, yes, here's wishing you a wonderfully festive Boxing Day, xo

Trée said...

Hey, what language was that in? :-D

Never seen it before, thanks for the smiles with my coffee oh silent one. :-D

Autumn Storm said...

I'm not sure, but whatever it was, I can do a wicked impersonation of it. :-)
Morning poppet, so good to see you, I've missed you. :-)

Some rockin', Lisa, there was some rockin' around the tree. :-D
Big love, xo

Morning Autumn, or I should say afternoon I guess. I can't quite wrap my brain around what day and time it is....I feel like I have a Christmas hangover - one in which no alcohol was involved - ya know, just that sluggish butt dragging feeling!

On the good side, this week is already half over, well kind of.
Hope yours is going along smashingly !!

Missed you.

Meg

What a Christmas song that is indeed. What is Boxing Day?

Autumn Storm said...

Hey Jillie, hope the holiday is going well! Boxing Day is what the Brits call the day after Christmas Day. The name was given, according to reliable sources ie Trée and Encarta :-), due to the fact that traditionally this would be the day on which employers would give their staff presents (boxes).
Have a great rest of the week, x, and safe journey home when you get that far. :-)

Autumn Storm said...

Evening here at this stage, :-), afternoon Meg. So very nice to see you back, you were missed these past couple of days that's for sure.
You sound like you have been having a whale of a time over the Christmas break. :-D I felt precisely the same way this morning when I had to get up and go to work after 4 lovely days off. Hope you have a good one in any case, nice and easy. Catch up soon, xo

Morning Autumn -

just wanted to say hi and hope your day is going well.

Its snowing like crazy here right now - that thick and heavy and wet kind of snow - looks beautiful, sucks to drive in :)

Autumn Storm said...

Morning Meg. :-)
I'm quite envious - it's warm here today, sweater weather as opposed to the winter coat temperatures of late. Not as much fun in traffic though, what we need in weather like that is to be in the forrest, by a lake, that kind of thing, where it stays as snow as opposed to muddy slush. Wouldn't that be nice. :-)

Happy day to you, xo

Meg said...

Yep, it would be a perfect snow day if it weren't that I was at work. Much prefer to be curled up next to a fireplace with a good book - or a good man :)

Nooooo, I'm stuck at work. No work for you today???

Autumn Storm said...

Nope, day off today (working at the weekend instead. For my sins) and no man to curl up to, that's gotta be worse luck. ;-D

Meg said...

Well, its our good luck though that we get to have you around for a change.....hope your day is going well and your doing nothing but relaxing and enjoying yourself!!

jillie said...

Well Autumn...if you want a nice warm man to snuggle up to...I have two great dogs that make the best companions ever in a pinch. They're 95 pound labs and boy do they love to snuggle and I just know they would LOVE you! HHNT to ya ;o)

Autumn Storm said...

True to form, Meg, that's such a nice thing to say. :-) I could quite happily sit here all day long, now is that a good thing or a bad thing? LOL In any case, having the opportunity to catch up here with you guys is very welcome always.
About to head out the door again now though, so I'll catch you later.
Don't work too hard, xo

Autumn Storm said...

Could I borrow that brown lab that you posted a picture of a few weeks ago? :-) So sweet that picture/post was.
Not a bad idea, Jillie, I shall have to consider that. But since you have both, tell me, which is better, dog or man? LOL Must be nice to have the choice. :-D
Happy Thursday to you, I shall be right over, xo

Meg said...

Hope whatever your doing is funfilled.....have a great rest of the day.

Meg

Autumn Storm said...

:-) You too, Meg!

jillie said...

Jake would just love you to smithers...you can borrow him anytime you want :o)
My guy is on the road so much that I almost forget what it's like to have him home. Sometimes it's a tough choice especially when he's home for too long of a stretch...hahaha

Good morning Autumn...wanted to stop by and wish you a Happy New Year if I don't get a chance to do it later. I hope 2007 brings you health and happiness ;o)

Autumn Storm said...

Thanks Jillie, a very happy New Year to you too! Hope your year ahead is filled to the brim with all the things that make you smile. :-)

Autumn Storm said...

Lisa, miss you too! Seems like ages since we have spoken and it is what, 2 days? :-) That's gotta be a measure of true friendship. Thanks, and I hope all things are going well there too. Have a great Friday, weekend and New Years eve. Mail as soon as I have mind to write one. :-D Love you lots, xoxo

Autumn Storm said...

Chai, I think, I've a mail from you waiting on a response, it was one of those cases where I thought I had sent a reply and now I'm beginning to wonder. I'll go look hereafter and get it sent off. In any case, happy New Year to you too. You'll get there first, so save a spot for the rest of us. Wishing you all things good, for you and the littlun, in the year to come. :-)

Autumn Storm said...

So I've heard, Meg :-D No, they do, absolutely. Its the one time of year where everyone is collectively (near enough:) aware of time passing and making the most of what's ahead. Hope you have a fantastic time whatever you get up to on the night, a ton of fun and all the rest of it. Hugs to you, and not for the last time, I warn you, I wish you a very, very happy New Year, xo

PS Thank you for the email, will get back to you asap.

Autumn Storm said...

Lisa! You'll like this one - have a look at the times of those four messages that I just wrote (maybe even this one) - they all got published on the dot. How weird is that! :-)

Autumn Storm said...

Okay, well, now I have got to test it out and see how long that carries on for, though now that I am doing that, no doubt I will have jinxed it. :-D

Autumn Storm said...

Too much of a coincidence - so I figure, it's a blogger thing rather than my remarkable timing LOL - amusing myself here, that's what you get after a long day at work, complete silliness. :-D

javajazz said...

k, you're gonna have a giggle...
at first i wasnt sure what you meant
but then i see they're all posted
on the 00's but then i did a wee
bit of research, cuz i'm all down
with the 11:11 non coincidental
coincidences...so i looked up
to the top of thecomments
on this post and they're all
on the 00's and then i looked at
mine and i dont have mine set
to 00's so i looked on Terrys
and her comments are all landing
on the 00's then i looked at Trees
and his are all landed on the 00's
but its really a hoot that we never
really noticed that part of it before!
yes, it must be that end of the day
going nutty after a crazy day at work
hyper awareness...but funny, A....
how is ya?
me not doing too well...might need
email to splain...just some emotional
politics 'round here what with precious
cargo home and all...even the nicest
of families can get a bit off sometimes
when emotions are at play...i'll just
try to hang on to the surfboard...i'm
not very good in the water....
whatever.

xo

Lisa, sending love and bear hugs, and do send that mail and I will respond promtly, I can always sleep Monday. :-)
I don't think the 00 thing normally happens - and I hadn't even noticed that the posts above were also 00. :-) Oh well, it was fun while I thought I was getting it on the nose by chance LOL
