I've said it before, anyone who looks to you with open eyes could not fail to see what I see. The definition of poppet is someone especially sweet and endearing, especially being the keyword. Though I have seen many a kind heart, few could reach the heights I have seen from you. Though I have loved completely, rare is it to like every facet of another, but that is true of you. How often you touch my heart simply by being you, how often you make me smile, so often my mind questions how will I ever let you know of the joy you spread, let alone bestow even a fraction in return as I long to do. Then, you rain a gesture such as the one above upon me, such as Norah or Nena, such as so many other things you have said and done (and just about every chapter you have ever written) and all I can do is be enthralled in the wonder that is you.
Virge, no disappearing on me, please. Email me at autumnstorm75@hotmail.com, if things continue this way blogwise. Hugs to you, hope you are doing okay, x
I try to get all the way around at least once a day, Saff, to see how everyone is. And yes, from our talented friend at Trebuchet & Decadent Tranquility. Happy day ahead. :-)
wow, that is lovely. how are you my friend? thanks for the email about Meg. I was worried. I made it back safe and sound. But, i came home to sick people, the puking kind. so far (cross your fingers and maybe toes too) I am ok. have a great day and come by, I posted new! ;)
Jillie, I'll pass it along. Looking forward to seeing you in LONDON! :-) As I was saying to someone (could have been here), at this rate, I would have seen everyone on this side of the ocean before I ever make it over your side. :-D
Bless, hope they all feel better very soon, Jodes. Pictures?! :-D On my way..
yep, the pics are up now!!! thanks - they all got better by the end of the weekend - thanks for the good thoughts. i am so jealous that jillie gets to meet you!! you will love her more than you do now.
If I come to you with a problem about X, logically, I'm expecting a solution or discussion on X. But if you keep harping on the solution about Y, which is totally not my question and totally off tangent, I have every reason to try and bring you back to topic X, rite? Afterall, you did say to come to you should I have any problems, and why should I not take your word for it? Unless you are a habitual don't-mean-what-i-say person. In any case, would I not be pissed off when you insist that you are not getting to me? Hello! In this case, X does not=Y! You are not answering my question and yet accuse me of not understanding. Who's not understanding?!
Hi Autumn - from your hippie pals G and T. We shall be in Florence most closely on May 30 and June 1st after we visit the Cinque Terre from the 28th through the 30th of May. Chantel is planning on spending an entire week with us = George told her the entire dates of our trip to deal with only they are so vague it is difficult to work with. As for you Autumn, we would so LOVE TO SEE YOU (when is Jillie coming- I forget)if you want to do the Florence thing (lets!!!!) can/will you be available on Wednesday May 30 or May 31st. We are still roughly tentative, but those are the dates we plan to be in Florence thus far. Any suggestions? Haven't even booked lodgings yet - much less looked at a map, but let me know where your niece is closest to, and we shall try to land on our radar... ha ha. I know we can do it - would adore seeing you again!!!!!!!! :-D
Wow, Saff, for a minute there I was worried, thinking you were having a go at me. :-D I hear your frustration clear across the continents and I know what that feels like, when regardless of what you say the other seems to misunderstand, makes it seem as though they are not listening to a word being said, which worst case scenario also happens to be true sometimes. Really, it's a bit of a miracle really that anyone ever understands the other, not least when we communicate with words. I hope it's a case of the first-mentioned, i.e. a misunderstanding, where Y is so prominent in this person's mind, they are having a hard time seeing anything else. Anyways, hope both X and Y get sorted to satisfaction, and I hope that comment was capable of being understood. :-) Hugs to you, and a better day ahead, x
Jillie, on my way. All is great here - hope the same is true there.
Terry, I'll do my very best to make it down there, shouldn't be a problem, but one never knows what might get in the way. Don't worry about location as Florence really isn't that big, besides which they are in the process of moving and I'm not sure, if it is within the same area that they will be staying. Best to find something near the centre of town and travel out from there for sight-seeing. When you do go to Florence, it is well worth taking a drive up to a certain look-out point of which I do not know the name, but will get you some directions. Jillie should be headed this way around mid-May, so no lap-over there. So nice for G, and for you, that you will be able to catch up with Chantel properly. She's such a great gal, even I'm missing her at the moment, and in the scheme of things, I barely know her. Hopefully, we'll be able to catch up soon. See you in Florence, if all goes well. And happy Thursday to you. :-)
Oh my, a compliment and a half. :-D It's so good to see you posting more often once again, Tiff, been missing catching up in all the going-ons in your life. Now to truly speak of one in a million is to hold up your blog as evidence - few like you, sweetie, so honest and direct, two of the many, many qualities that drew myself (and J) so deeply. Happy weekend, x
Hi there A. Hope you had a great Easter, and are having a wonderful weekend now. My Love is getting crazy and is looking a ferrys over to Tirana - my sis and her hubby are there. I really don't think we will have a time allowance to go over there but we shall see. It is a glorious, rainy, spring day here. Did I tell you that G is going to be a Grandpa? :-D
Poppet, wish you had woken me, but then we wouldn't have had that fabulous drawing of Kyra. :-) Does explain why you insisted on that lazy Sunday morning, not that I'm complaining, far from it. :-D
Had expected them to be here waiting for me when I got home, but it hasn't arrived yet. With a little luck they'll come in first thing, fingers crossed. Coming in from Germany, don't think I told you that, so the delay must be to do with the Easter Holiday. I can visualize you wearing it already, looking forward to the real thing. :-)
Promise you'll call me as soon as they arrive. I'm sure I can make an excuse to run an errand or two. As for the grin, well, I can't imagine how you're going to get rid of that. :-D
One size too small, which is going to make the words all the more visible seeing as they will be stretched out. And though I still plan to get a red, I got what you suggested, so we are all set for that contest. Bring your hose. :-D
And of course, I will. I'll wear mine on the way if they do arrive tomorrow and I'll have to insist you put yours on momentarily too. Under your business dress if necessary. :-D
LOL, I see you grinning. It's only to be expected after a good work-out, besides worn-out is a most pleasurable state to be in. :-D Get some rest too, though I half-suspect based on the heretofore that you never run out of energy :-D. See you in the morn, x (H)
hey girl - how goes it? My day is going well - I think I can finally breathe...I worked 3 12 hour days to get work done that was behind in the dept I took over!!! HOLY CRAP!! Today is my Friday eve and I am so looking forward to this weekend and dinner out with the girls. hope you have a good one.
Saw the amount of hours that you have been putting in this week - you thoroughly deserve to live it large this weekend! All's good here, thanks, and you too, xo
Poppet, rarely have I been as touched as I was viewing the slideshow that was today's post at Trebuchet. And once again, a post that you have posted shows me what a beautiful person you are. Thanks for the coffee. Just how I like it, not with cream or sugar, but with you. :-D
Thank you Sweetest. Words and actions, may the two be as one, and if the two are not as one, believe the action. The picture of that young man and his mom tell a story of action, of love, and although the captions help us understand the story, the story is not in the captions or the words, but in the eyes and the love between two souls as the hand of fate claims one before the other. I can't view those Pulitzer award winning photos without feeling my entire perspective shift, without feeling all the petty concerns slip from my shoulders like so many shingles in a storm.
And so we do what we can. We crunch and we support and we love and we do it again and again and again--not with words, but with actions.
I love you my dear, in part, because your heart and your soul cares and I see that caring in your actions, in what you do. That your words are in perfect alignment with those actions only makes me smile at the wonder of you, but it is your actions that bring joy to my heart.
By the way, congratulations for surpassing 1500 results returned to the University of Oxford on our cancer research team and busting past 200,000 points. I admire your dedication, just so you know. :-)
And you're welcome for the coffee and music. Least I could do. :-)
I like seeing all those zeros, makes me feel good. :-D Like I said to you when you highlighted my having reached 100,000, your sweetness is difficult to respond to, since it is through something so effortless. I do understand the point you made though, about it being a choice, and so, simply, thank you. I do log into the site once in a while to check the team stats, my goal is to catch up to you, ;-D, which is impossible but I shall still keep on trying, in other words, in your words, we continue. :-)
So giving you are in that comment once again, so much so, it brings tears to my eyes. Kindness will do that every time, for once again it is a choice, one would hope the easiest one to make, but it isn't always that way. Tears of love and gratitude for the great blessing in my life that is you. I was thinking about your characters this morning after writing my comment on your latest post at DT, about how each time we fall for another, learn to care for them, love them, though it flows from us, it builds faster inside, lifts and expands, and though these are fictional characters the same is true of them - this is what your story does, awards the opportunity to feel, to care. And each of those, opportunities, are so very welcome, which makes it very confusing when occasionally open arms are offered only to be pushed away. Strange things happen sometimes, which is why above all else, I adore you so. Because I know, with complete certainty, that you are who you are. (The fact that who you are is a fabulously funny, incredibly witty, amazingly creative, vastly talented, incalculably warm hearted, extremely generous super-sexy individual with the accent to match, well, that's a bonus to say the very least. :-D)
Yep, you are a rarity, special to the core, beautiful through and through. Thank you for the very kind, very touching words here, poppet, you have a sweet, sweet heart. Love to you, x
We're about four hours away but I'm already wanting to get the coffee going. You know it's getting harder and harder to say good night. Call it the curse of the cottage. :-D
Sweet dreams my love. Just so you know, I'll be listening to Mat all night--downloaded the whole album. I can smell the rain and see the light reflecting off your eyes on that ancient stone wall. Next time we'll do it with the T-shirt but I'm not compromising on the pleated skirt. A man has to draw the line somewhere. :-D
I found somewhere we missed this time and need to go next time, ancient stone walls every which way you turn. Promise you'll love it on sight. :-)
Missing you more than usual this morning, I have to say. More than you could surely imagine, which is saying something given the scope of yours. :-) Wish I had left the bedroom door ajar, so that the aroma of fresh coffee might have woken me in time to share it with you.
For now, I keeping excellent company with the first of those songs. You've gave me yet another opportunity to love when you showed me Mat. And each time you do that, I fall for you a little more. :-)
See all them smiles. You don't even have to be awake to reach clear across the ocean. Sweet dreams, my poppet. Will be home in time for lunch, I'll bring something for dessert. :-D
hello my friend, how are you? weekend was great and very fulfilling even though i kept thinking about work. oh well. had t great italian dinners, oh my lord i am still stuffed. went out to dinner with jillie and lisa and danika. how was your weekend?
:-) Sounds like you had an excellent weekend, Jodes, great food and great company. Good to hear you stuffed it full of fun after all the work you've been putting in lately. Mine was good, thanks, worked through it so it went quickly and whenever I had a spare moment I was outside enjoying the marvellous weather we've been having. Apparently we look set to beat the current record from 1912 for the hottest April on record. Hopefully May will be even better for when Jillie arrives. Have a great monday when you get that far, xo
Thank you, Carolyn, for the kind words. I haven't heard from Christa, but I have just mailed a letter to her home address and am hoping that I will get a response from her, either via post or the telephone in the next few days. When(/if) I do, I will make sure to inform you. Fingers crossed. :-)
hello my friend - thanks for the kind words - i had to call her last night - it was rough. she cried the whole time and i could barely understnd her - so i just cried with her. doing well today tough, work was good - hope you are having a great day or night i can never remember what the heck time it is over there.
No problem, Carolyn, soon as I hear, I'll let you know. Until then, as said, fingers crossed. :-)
So very sad, Jodes, feel so for your friend and her family, and for you too. Hugs to you.
Glad all else is going well, including work. Hopefully your days are a little shorter this week!
Running late this morning, but I'll catch up with you later properly. Nice answers btw, though I had to smile at the amount and variation of stuff under you bed. :-D
How heartwarming it was to read the comments on here. So many kinds of love expressed and one that should be written as a beautiful love story. Hugs and smooches to you~
Oliviah, so many times I've thought it and never said, no reason to really, but I get the very same feeling (the same sense of warmth) when you visit as I do when Agnes does. I don't know either of you as well as I would claim to know some others here in the world of blogs, but what with both of you, there's such an essential goodness and sweetness, genuine and perfect, that due to those very same two qualities is so open, so plain to see in the words that you write, regardless of what you write. The best way I can explain is that there is no thought, just expression, and it's free and it's beautiful. Hugs to you. Hope your weekend has and will be full of smiles, x
Jodes, I've had a memorable weekend to say the very least. :-) I thought of you all today in what was a perfect moment, driving through the heart of London with the sun beating down, the radio blasting, the wind blowing my hair every which way. Even then, I was still carrying. (Sigh) My sister-in-law has been visiting from Italy and goes home today, it's been so very wonderful to see her, old and new memories combine and I feel fit to burst when I think of all the special people in my life - so it is always, so it seems, waves thereof just come so quickly sometimes.
:-D A yes and a half. Thanks for asking, hope you're having a good one too. I'll be right over.

You're so very sweet, Kesh. :-) That was my line.
Just to let you know: answers to spot the animal are up.
Happy weekend :)
you are 1 in a million.
XOXO
Tiff
Oh my, a compliment and a half. :-D It's so good to see you posting more often once again, Tiff, been missing catching up in all the going-ons in your life. Now to truly speak of one in a million is to hold up your blog as evidence - few like you, sweetie, so honest and direct, two of the many, many qualities that drew myself (and J) so deeply. Happy weekend, x
Can't sleep. (H)
See you in a bit. (H)
Terry, that's wonderful news! Presuming it's the Hawaii gang and not any of the others. :-D Tell him congratualations from me.
Had a truly spectacular weekend, thanks Terry. Glad your's is going well too. :-)
You do know how to make me smile. :-)
Likewise. And from head to toe. :-D
How's our T-shirt order coming along?
ETA?
Had expected them to be here waiting for me when I got home, but it hasn't arrived yet. With a little luck they'll come in first thing, fingers crossed. Coming in from Germany, don't think I told you that, so the delay must be to do with the Easter Holiday. I can visualize you wearing it already, looking forward to the real thing. :-)
Can't wait to see them. :-)
Promise you'll call me as soon as they arrive. I'm sure I can make an excuse to run an errand or two. As for the grin, well, I can't imagine how you're going to get rid of that. :-D
By the way, what size did you order for yourself?
One size too small, which is going to make the words all the more visible seeing as they will be stretched out. And though I still plan to get a red, I got what you suggested, so we are all set for that contest. Bring your hose. :-D
And of course, I will. I'll wear mine on the way if they do arrive tomorrow and I'll have to insist you put yours on momentarily too. Under your business dress if necessary. :-D
Can you stand one more curry? You know the place. :-)
For you, I could. :-) My question though is what will you miss most, me or the curry. :-D
Do you even have to ask? :-D
Sweet dreams when you get that far. Sorry to have "worn you out". Please accept my apologies. :-D
LOL, I see you grinning.
It's only to be expected after a good work-out, besides worn-out is a most pleasurable state to be in. :-D
Get some rest too, though I half-suspect based on the heretofore that you never run out of energy :-D. See you in the morn, x (H)
Will do. (H)

Hi there,
Very nice blog you have here, Autumn :)
I'm here from Awful Souls and was wondering if you know where Christa has gotten to? She seems to have disappeared. Hope all is well with her.
Thank you, Carolyn, for the kind words.
I haven't heard from Christa, but I have just mailed a letter to her home address and am hoping that I will get a response from her, either via post or the telephone in the next few days. When(/if) I do, I will make sure to inform you.
Fingers crossed. :-)
Thank you Autumn. I do hope everything is ok with her. I appreciate you letting me know :)
hello my friend - thanks for the kind words - i had to call her last night - it was rough. she cried the whole time and i could barely understnd her - so i just cried with her. doing well today tough, work was good - hope you are having a great day or night i can never remember what the heck time it is over there.
Have a good one, x
Coffee brewing. I've got good news. (H)
My favourite kind of news. :-)
Is it what I think it is? Confirmation come through?
(H)
Yes. (H)
Happy, happy, happy day!
Love to you, my sweet poppet, miss you so, can't wait to see you. :-)

hello, the weekend is here. what a week it has been. how are you? doing anything fun today? how is the weather? got a new post and a sily pic.
Coffee and postings are up. Time to wake up sleepyhead. :-D
Poppet
What sweet things you write. You warmed my heart and made my day. Many hugs to you!
Only the truth, Oliviah. :-) Hugs back at you, x

Just arrived home safe and sound. Got some more computers crunching so watch out. :-D
LOL, You make me want to go out and buy more, just so I can pretend to offer a challenge. ;-D
Thank you for letting me know you arrived, much appreciated. Sweet dreams, sweet poppet. And thanks for words on the post above. :-)
