Yesterday evening Team Bravo reached the grand total of

that we have reached this goal so quickly is a*mazing
affirming what a determined bunch of crunchers we are!
each and every one of you.

On such a special occasion, I am even more pleased to

new teammate and one of the great loves of my life,

Team Bravo is part of the World Community Grid, where collectively people across the world are donating their unused computer time for scientific research on a range of projects that potentially will benefit us all. The WCG enables us to take advantage of the extraordinary opportunity to help without actually doing anything. Sound too good to be true? Okay, admittedly there is a catch. To be a part requires a few minutes of time. Three or four to complete the registration process and a minute more to join the team. After that all that is left to do is watch your scores rise and know that with each result returned, you have been a part of a collective step towards changing the world for the better.

Aren't we doing well!! Woo!!
Just in and checking through my fave blogs and there you are already and waiting!!

Fantastic results - aren't we doing well!

No worries about last night we'll do it again soon!! I'll be putting a post up on The Gutter in about an hour and photoblog in about two - catch up a little later.

You rock AS and it's great to see you happy about all our efforts!

Autumn Storm said...

Bravo is the best! And it is so, because it consists of such a wonderful group of individuals, people like yourself. 1,000,000 points inside of 4 months is truly a marvellous achievement, I feel proud to be a part of this team. :-)

Put the kettle on, I'll be over in a bit to see those posts. In the mean time, enjoy your evening, teammate.

EBEZP said...

Oh I've kept you waiting again! Sorry...busy out there in ether land!! Lending a shoulder here, missing somebody (awfully) there, a tear for x and a joke with y. Making my way back here then another E mail....like the bat phone....someone in trouble call for SUPER SI!!!

I should know by now shouldn't I? Never make plans in the E world!!

Just stop and think though the people out there aren't we among the most fortunate in the world? With just a few chosen typed words we do make a difference. Take you for example you are something really special, I know that and yet I don't know you!

You have been so supportive of me and you probably haven't even realised. But wow AS you know what to say to make me go all giddy just for a few seconds maybe but all giddy all the same!

We are fortunate to be able to do that.
Team members is good, friends is good and the two together along with all our fellow team members is AWESOME!!

This calls for a group hug

OO that's better isn't it?

Still got things to do but I have just posted on The Gutter, I think you'll like them, check out the bottom one!

Catch you again in a bit (hope)

Super Si. :-D You must be a cherished friend to many, it sounds like you not only are called upon but are willing and able of rising to the challenge of being a supportive friend.

I've been amazed by the many wonderful gestures of genuine caring that I have seen here in the blogeshere, time and again when people have shared stories from their lives past and present, others have gathered not only to listen but to support, encourage and comfort. People wonder sometimes, as I did myself before establishing relationships with people I had/have never met, how can one be sure that one is communicating with a real person, ie how do we tell whether a person is genuine or not. Perhaps strangely, it is not more difficult to do so than it would be someone standing across from us. If someone is not being genuine, usually they slip up pretty quickly, or there is just something about them that doesn't ring true. Here many times, I think, we get to know people on a personal level often quicker than we would in the real world, for there is some protection so to speak, a degree of anonymity for one. Most do not come here to make friends, or rather this is not their main objective, it is rather to have a place in which to be completely themselves. That's a thought is it not. I see it as a real blessing that I stumbled upon this place. Time and again I have fallen completely in love with people that I have met here, and though I know too having been here a while now that bloggers come and go, I'll always carry those people in my heart and think about them often down the road wondering how they are, whether they fulfilled their dreams and so on.

So, yes, amazingly, virtual hugs can at times be as heartfelt as if they were real, and more amazingly it can be felt too.

Kind words, of the giddying kind, from you here, Simon, and it is by no means the first time you have sent some my way. Though I am not sure what I have done to deserve them, I also know that sometimes the little things at the right time can impact, and so I'll take those very sweet words and thank you kindly for them. :-)

EBEZP said...

That's amazing! I've never met anyone in this weird and wonderful land that admits to 'loving' someone they've never met. For 2 months now I have been asking myself if it is possible to love without eye contact, body language and a raft of non verbal communication that we use in every day life. I have said to a very special certain someone in blogland that it would take me less than a second to fully answer that question to myself.
If I was to have eye contact with them!

We have done some very special things on the internet together, firsts for both of us and probably a lot more than we would have done in real life. Though I begin to worry about constant comparisons between E lationships and real life, where one can only use one form of communication and the other as many as it takes.

We know so much about each other more than we would irl because we've taken the time to tell each other and ask and find out. I'm sure that if we were to meet if she had two heads it wouldn't matter.

Oh I could go on but two reasons I won't right now, one is that when she returns to having internet access she might read all this and because she is not really in a position to do anything about it (yeah my luck, she's married!)she would be annoyed at me talking like this - the word love has been banned in E mails etc - the other reason is that I'm going to bed!!

Don't ever question why you give me or anybody giddy moments because yes it is sometimes just the smallest thing or something that is personal but undisclosed to you!

One of my 'missions' tonight was with a Canadian blogger who is having a very bad/rotten time with her husband and I wrote something about her husband and because of where he is actually from, which I didn't know it caused her a 'giddy' moment. It was so unintentional and horribly inappropriate (if I'd known about it) but it just happens.

So Good night AS, sleep tight and sweet dreams. I guess I will sleep and dream well!

Hope to catch you later!

EBEZP said...

Saturday! Have a good one AS! Catch you later!

Autumn Storm said...

The difference here, or at least I see it as such, is that I am talking about the very many beautiful people that I have met here, where you are talking about something quite different. In the post, I describe for example Justin as a great love in my life, and he is that, a true friend, someone whom I trust implicitly, and who is a part of my life just as friends in the real world are. Yours cannot be an easy situation, I hope it all works out for the best.

Happy Saturday! :-)

EBEZP said...

Oh I know it's different but on the other hand you know, without that basic trust nothing would ever grow in to the situation that I'm in!

I do love everything about this land in which we exist and I do love all the people such as yourself.

I also really love that one special person and I think that what you and I are both saying gives me encouragement to come up with the answer to Can you really love some one whom you've never met? Without starting with, No of course you can't!!

That's what I found somewhat amazing about our lovely conversation last night.

Don't care any way you still rock AS - really.

Just done a funny sort of post on WN which I almost guarantee won't be seen by anybody!! Unless you know different!

Will not be around at all until about 8.30 this evening and you are invited tonight to come and have a chat at mine and we'll try and get some food and wine together to make up for the other night.

Later!

Autumn Storm said...

:-) Taking that hint and on my way over to WN.

EBEZP said...

Just getting the wine in at mine be about ten mins, bring food but more importantly yourself!!

Trée said...

Justin, welcome to Team Bravo. Glad to have you on board and to be able to call you a teammate. :-)

Justin Thyme said...

Thanks Tree! So when does the team hazing and initiation begin... ;-)

EBEZP said...

Hey AS bring our team mates over to the party at mine and we'll think of an initiation for Justin!!

Autumn Storm said...

I'll just go round them up now. :-)

Hey Poppet, welcome home. :-)

Trée said...

J, as soon as I can get to LA and do it in person. ;-)

Thank you Sunshine. Good to be home.

EBEZP said...

Hi AS are you alright. You were there at my party, turned around to speak with someone and you’d gone and I was looking forward to having a little chat with my favourite ‘new’ friend. Hope you enjoyed the wine – all 4 bottles – but I did get those just for you I’ve brought you over some cheese that we didn’t get round to. Enjoy. I’m going back over there now to throw them out even though it’s only early for them!! Oh I’ve just posted Churches on Sunday on the photoblog, now I wonder who’s responsible for that? Take it easy and I’ll catch you later today!!

Autumn Storm said...

Argh, yes, so sorry about that, when I drink it usually goes one of two ways, either I end up dancing on the table or I go to sleep for a while. Table dance next time, promise. :-) Night, and thanks for the cheese. :-D

Trée said...

I got a table for you. :-D

Autumn Storm said...

Hang onto it and I'll be right over. :-)

Trée said...

Oooh, choices. I only have two hands you know. :-D

Autumn Storm said...

Sure, but you make up for it in other places. :-D

magdalene-sophie said...

hi storm :)

good on you guys with Team Bravo! keep it up, Bravo indeed ;)

Autumn Storm said...

Thank you, Meg. Have a great Sunday. :-)

EBEZP said...

Oh wow, so early I've left your rubber gloves and coffee on the draining board in the kitchen, watch for those two girls asleep on the floor, at least I think they were two girls. It is early!!
Thanks for all your support. I'll catch you later...probably way later, no comp access at work on Sunday's and round to me mums for 'tea'!
HUGS N KISSES!

EBEZP said...

Just me agin I found 3 girls t the bus stop outside my comments box and I've just left them in The Gutter, could you check they are ok for me. Ta! x

Autumn Storm said...

Found them and I'm done, just call me Speedy Gonzalez. Wasn't sure what to do with the girls on the couch though, whether you wanted to keep them or not, so I thought I'd best leave them where they were. Happy Sunday. :-)

EBEZP said...

Wonderful job AS thank you so much!
They drunk me out of house and comments box! I did have this put aside just for you! Good job really!

One of those girls on the sofa was jlee and she's just gone! The other well she woke up knocked back half a bottle of scotch and left and she also left this behind!

Thanks again sweet AS! Hope to see you later.

Autumn Storm said...

:-D
As momentos go, that's a rather pretty one. :-)
Thanks for the bottle, much appreciated. Enjoy your evening!

EBEZP said...

Thank you AS but what's an early night? Hey were you there last night when we were talking about the Red Hot chilli Peppers, Under the Bridge?
If you like that then nip over to WN and catch a great live version from Slane Castle in Dublin, it rocks!

Thanks for the valid comment on The Gutter, men do visit but don't comment! It's the same on all NSFW sites. I think men are embarrassed and don't want to be labelled as a pervert by the girls who visit....and comment! I'm actually thinking of removing the blogroll from that site, don't know, what do you think? Though it's doing as well as Mom the Minx's Erotic Diary and Ice 2 both comparable sites and both hosted by women!!

Churches on Sunday will stay maybe just for you but the photoblog hasn't yet had much pimping, I'm going to work on that over the next few weeks. I think maybe five different subjects on regular days. Any input? What about you and your photos? I just love photos and photo sites!

Thanks again for all your help it's not just these comment boxes that re warm and cosy....I now know that you are a warm (and cosy?!) person and definitely my favourite new friend. I am loving this AS! Long long may it continue.

If I don't catch you again tonight, Night night sweet AS.

Keshi said...

mwahhhh u guys rock!

Autumn Storm said...

Morning Simon,
I'll definitely be checking out the video after this, that is one of my albeit many very favourite songs. Hypnotic and it reminds me of a certain young man from days long gone. :-)

I had noticed of course that there are not many men who comment at GP, but I was in fact hinting that it had been a long time since we had seen some nice pictures of men. :-D Not sure why, but I'm blushing at not making myself clear, likely because one would have been a 'valid comment' and the other is just me wanting to feast my eyes on some male booty. :-D

Most blogs usually pick up readers along the way and so for a blog as young as yours, it is bound to see more of a response along the way. Moreover, you as a blogger have three for people to visit, thus if you add them all together, really you are doing well in regards to the degree of interest shown via comments. Personally, I don't see any reason why you should remove the blogroll from GP, I'm sure there cannot be many who would baulk at being associated with what you post there. And if they were not happy with it, presumably they would let you know, so unless they do, I don't think you need worry about it.

Having regular features can be helpful, you'll only have to come up with the initial themes once and from then on out, you'll have that as inspiration even when you aren't feeling very inspired. And you seem to have a fondness for certain subjects, thus thinking of five that could make easy regulars would probably not be too difficult. It's a good idea. :-)

As for me and my photographs, I do love taking them and so it isn't unlikely that once I am able to upload them again (haven't been for a while, will be able to soon), you may see some of the sights I see through my lens. I warn you though, kiddie pics will undoubtedly be my regular feature. :-)

No worries on the help, I've a bit of a cleaning fetish, :-D, so it was my pleasure. Have a great day off!!!

Autumn Storm said...

:-) Thanks Kesh. Happy Monday, x

EBEZP said...

Hi Looks like I’m headed for a BAD I/T. day. Catch you later
Happy Monday

Autumn Storm said...

Hope it wasn't as bad as you thought. Happy Monday evening. :-)

EBEZP said...

Oh I went all giddy then for a tiny little moment, the words on my little google alert thingy just said
Hope it was..The decaden...

and I hoped it was too!! And it was!

Thank you but it wasn't that bad at all and I ended up buying another laptop which sooner or later will end up going to Matt in Paris!

Let's just say it's still a valid comment to save your blushes! Because it is! I've had men on The gutter before! (don't giggle!) The complaint then was that the men readily available on the internet were not real men and I did have to agree. Nothing wrong with Twinks and Gays and Cocks Two Men or more but very little eroticism or art or even man in the street types of pics, which left me wondering whether it was worth it or really what did women really want.

Do you see the problem? The only time the men comment is to say Where are the nude women?!!!

Women, I know(!) are far more difficult to please and most of the women visitors to the site yeah pass comment and for the most part appreciate most of the posted girls.

The good news is that I have found some erotic ish men pics and I may just post them later on, I'll let you know of course!

I had always intended to have men posted quite regularly so we'll see how it goes, later. Even if you are the only one that views them I'll go with your extremely valued (to me) opinion!

Photo subjects - we already have 3 Churches, Sunday ; Maritime Monday and Take Five friday which is moving over there from this week, if I've got the time I'll work on the sidebar later.

Oooo, can't wait for your photos! No seriously we could have little bloggy comps between us. It's a thing I do with kids as after school activities and stuff and used to do with the lads well before digital cameras!
Take a pic of something round/old/red/wet etc etc. Great fun. The latest project starting in september is all to do with looking up! There are some looking up photos somewhere in the WN archive, I would E mail them to you but......(sorry, low blow!)

Anyways gotta go, back in a couple of hours.

EBEZP said...

Men are up at 11. Ok?! OO that sounds wrong. Gotta go only just remembered a meeting I've got tomorrow that I haven't done the minutes of the last one yet!

In the words of Arnie, I'll be back.

Autumn Storm said...

Oooh, excellent, I'll be right over! :-)

Re: the blog, all the blogs, the key is to post what you like and if someone else likes it too, then great. Reason I mentioned the guys was due to the fact that one of the very first posts that I saw at the gutter was of menfolk. And if I wasn't mistaken, you mentioned then, guys were a regular thing and thus was born the comment of late. :-D

Best of luck with the photoblog, certainly sounds like you are cooking up a recipe for success. :-) And as for email, mine is freely available on my profile page, so feel free to share those pictures, if you like.

Tell me more about the after-school activities. Themed photos is such a good idea, they must have great fun with that.

That was the tired version of a reply. I'll edit tomorrow if in the morning light it will ask it. :-)

EBEZP said...

Is your E mail @hotmail then because I didn't want to use that thought it might have just been messenger with it not going straight on to it when you click it!!
I may edit that in the morning too!!

Glad you like the men! Thanks for the comments and all your good words.

Struggling right now to get music vids on but it's not playing ball.
Have you met my purple turtle? He's brilliant - you can make him swim!!

Night night sweet AS!

Autumn Storm said...

Morning Simon, and happy Tuesday to you. Hope you guys are getting some of what actually looks to be warm weather and no rain up there too. Yes, that's the email, here in full: autumnstorm75@hotmail.com, or you can pass me the link to that particular post, have been meaning to delve a little in your archives anyway. :-)
Enjoy your day off!

EBEZP said...

Wow that is spooky! Good spooky. I just clicked on my blogroll your name and my google alert saidyou'd just commented!

Tell you what is also strange...just posted on Photoblog and the churches had all disappeared!! Just reloaded them.

Yeah it's going to be a nice day here, it's already hot (ish) looks like I might go out with my camera, nothing new there then. High tide about lunch time so may take (pics) some water and not some sand!!

Have a great day, make the most of the weather and I'll catch you later!

I'm leaving the men up all day, bikers wedding on WN and metallica vid, and Seagulls on photoblog!

Autumn Storm said...

You know, one of my party tricks (I don't know you well enough to tell you about the others;) is being able to imitate the call of a seagull. Not to be done in small enclosed places, a precautionary measure though, I haven't actually burst any eardrums. :-) Be right over to see those posts.

Give the sea my love and tell her I will see her again as soon as possible.

Have fun!

EBEZP said...

It was so warm and windless, not the best for photos but a good time had by all allegedly.
Yes I did take 1 or 2 of seagulls because I can and because I have to!
I hope I'm still around to learn some of your other party tricks! (Really) but that sounds quite impressive and I'd settle for that for now!
Where is your 'seaside' or where do you go it's not necessarily the same is it? I've got you down as a Brighton person? Close?
I lived in Reading and my 'seaside' was supposed to be Hayling Island which frankly I hated. So for 6 years the only seaside was when we came home!!

Have a good evening oh yes it's Eastenders evening isn't it? Hey those Mitchell girls we should try and recruit them for Vixen Village!!

EBEZP said...

I'm in search of a sunset from 8.30 tonight, wanna join me?!

Autumn Storm said...

Why not. :-)

Haven't watched since the Ben/Stella saga ended, was addicted for about 2 weeks, but generally I am not much of a TV-watcher. I prefer this screen. You've got the right idea, heading to the beach, wish it were me, but alas it's a little too far away for me to pop down and back. I do have a little stream running behind my house, that I could visit again. :-) The beach for me is generally a flight out, an old habit that I seem to have inherited is the wanting to avoid the renowned long queues that build up along the motorways leading in the general beach direction. I did go to Brighton once, when I was 4, I remember this for they had this long spiral slide where the kids, and a few adults here and there, would slide down on grass mats and I was too young to go on, thus having to stand and watch my elder brother have all the fun. Other than that, a little further afield it has been, when I have visited England's beaches.

You're very lucky to live near the water. :-) Have fun, hope you find a glorious sunset and are able to bring us back some nice souvenirs.

EBEZP said...

I did better than that I bought you the sunset itself

EBEZP said...

And you could have come with me....
E mail?

Autumn Storm said...

Just replied to the email.
Beautiful sunset, is that from tonight?

EBEZP said...

You bet! We've probably got about ten more nights of potentially beautiful sunsets here, it's to do with geographical position and the ammount of water, because it's a peninsula with two river estuaries and the open sea.
Oh they are all good but it's the summer skies that make for the best.
Last year it was The British Open Golf championships held here in Hoylake and the world's press were here and I read a report online of the golf on the back page of the Toronto Sun and on the inside pages the same reporter had written more on a sunset that he had witnessed from the same place that I took those tonight!
I sent three pics of sunsets taken the next night to the paper and they sent me 100 Can$!!

New posts on all 3 and I'm away to bed. Knowing how early you have been known to be around I might even see you before I go to work!

Night night sweet AS.

Trée said...

How is our T-shirt contest coming along? Do we have a design yet? :-D

Morning Sweetest Heart. French Press is ready when you are. :-)

EBEZP said...

Happy Wednesday
Looks like it's really summer now could be going for 2 lovely days on the run!! Take advantage if you can. Have a good day!
Catch you this evening!

Autumn Storm said...

If I could find a program that would allow me to design and then save the design, so that we could show people what a great prize they could win, either that or I'll just have to do a likeness of the real thing, which is easily done. What I wanted to ask you about were the details, time frame, or the first to reach x amount. I like the second idea better, although it might take some time and thus enthusiasm, and there would be tons of that of course :-D, might wane. Although we could keep waving that prize to combat. And are you and I allowed to enter? Or do we just get one anyway on the quiet? ;-)

Thanks for the coffee, sweet pea, just how I like it, with you. Sweet dreams, see you soon, xo

Autumn Storm said...

Happy Wednesday, Simon, and thanks for providing another smile this morning. :-) Much appreciated.

Just gone 8 and already I can see the evidence of what you write, warmer at this still relatively early hour than it has been at noon since the summer months began. I certainly do intend to make the most of it, hope you get to pop out during your day to enjoy it too.
The photos yesterday were stunning, and hopefully what you wrote means that you will be out there for at least some of those 10 days bringing them to us. :-)

Have a good day!

Trée said...

Sweetest, I think that first design is perfect for the female members of Bravo and we should run with that. Now, for the non-female mates, well, we might want something a little different. :-D

As for the other details, I say the contest should run no longer than two weeks and you have to have a minimum of two new mates to qualify (new mate has to return a result to count). If no one qualifies, then we run it again at a time of our choosing. And yes, I think everyone on the team can participate.

:-)

Poppet aka El Capitan :-D

Autumn Storm said...

:-D Agree, in fact, I was in the middle of the masculine version just after sending the first, when I had to pop out unexpectedly, and so it's still here yet unfinished, soon to be.

Sounds good to me, let me finish the other shirt for your approval and then we can set about calling game on. :-D

xo

EBEZP said...

Yes AS, everybody should enter and I've blown the chances for you of getting a t shirt on the quiet....you forgot about me and how much I've been dropping in lately!!!!

Guys why don't you print off a few T shirts and auction them. Then we can do a big splash on donating the proceeds to a charity or we could sell them so that all members can have one! Pictures with the T shirts on posted on blog sites around the world!!

Hope you've had a good day AS, had things to do - hope to get back in a bit!

I'll bring some ice cream for supper ok!

Autumn Storm said...

Ah, but that is what will make them coveted, the fact that one cannot purchase them, only win them. And with hopefully being able to drum up a little competitive spirit, or as is the primary intention let everyone know that they are welcome themselves to recruit, eventually every member should own one. :-D

Ice cream, lovely. Something with berries would hit the spot right about now. I'll get the drinks ready. :-)

Lindsey said...

That is so great to hear!!!!

Autumn Storm said...

:-)

Happy midweek, xo

EBEZP said...

Hi AS sorry it’s late, can’t stop really but just stay for some of these and yippee Mango Ice cream!

Nite nite sweet AS!

Trée said...

Sweetest, the other shirt looks great. Post the contest when you are willing and able. You're hard work and dedication has not gone unnoticed. Meet me at the top of the stairs. ;-)

Trée said...

How bout "Your."

Blame Poppet. The boy never could speel.

Sweet Pea, not much better. :-D

tsduff said...

Hi Autumn - just a shout to say hi. Been away for a bit - hope you are well and content.

Hugs - to you and your little M.

Autumn Storm said...

Will do, on both counts. No intention of disappointing on the third either. So just relax and I'll keep a firm grip on things from this end. :-)

Trée said...

Just maintain proper pressure. That's all I ask. :-D

Autumn Storm said...

All good here, Terry. Hope you guys are doing okay in the circumstances. Continued thoughts and hugs.

Autumn Storm said...

I'll take good care, promise, leaving you with memories you'll want to dream about.

Trée said...

Or dreams I want to remember. Time for me to slumber. You coming?

Autumn Storm said...

Of course. Lead the way. :-)

Autumn Storm said...

Sweet dreams, sweetest heart, missing you already. H

tsduff said...

Your cousin is the lucky one to be hosted by you. Nobody does it better... :-)

Autumn Storm said...

Got a shiver then, for I don't think I have mentioned anywhere that two cousins are coming over from Denmark today (via Stanstead, familiar drive :) for a long weekend, but then I remembered that it's only 2 weeks since the last one visited and that this is whom you must be speaking of. :-)
Peaceful dreams when you get that far, Terry.

Autumn Storm said...

Simon, mango ice cream and tropical fruit make a truly decadent breakfast. :-) Thanks for bringing those over, sorry I fell asleep on you - well, not literally :-D - if you're free now though, there's plenty left over.
Have a great day ahead. :-)

You know we did that spooky thing with times agin this morning. Check out those times. Good spooky!

Just passing through really but I may go for a sunset tonight, just to do something different, lovely night in prospect, need a little bit of cloud though for the really good sunset.

If your cousins are with you you may not have the time but join me if you can about 8.45, the webcam link is HERE

Pop back later with some supper and some sunsets hopefully!

Simon, poop, missed you again. Good thing there are still a couple of those best nights yet. With a little luck, we should be able to synchronize eventually. :-) Have a good night.
