That keeps me harping on and on
Just like a Christmas morning kid
About the fabulous World Community Grid
Time, as always, is of the essence
And the relevance here makes rare sense
Between work and all those other things
We must see to before midnight rings
Often we wish we could, and think we should
Find more time to do distinguishable good
By this I mean the things that come in
After kindnesses offered to friend and kin
After the habitual things that we do each day
That help send us all on a merrier way
But just imagine if there were somehow
To increase that and to do it now
Without it requiring anything more
Than 5 minutes of the time that is yours
And just the once, one single time
Added to that, it won't cost a dime
There is
There's this
First step is to sign up at the WCG
Download software that is as safe as can be
To know more spend some time at the site
and you will see over 300,000 words unite
In a promise that it really is this easy, this secure
And that the intentions behind are perfectly pure
To assist scientists as they work toward
eradicating disease and problems that cannot be ignored
By contributing unused computing power
seconds in time turn to minutes turn to hours
When you are idle, the agent will be working
Thus in doing nothing, you will actually be helping
While cooking dinner or bathing the little ones
Attending a meeting or on an errand run
If the computer is on and connected to the net
You will be helping and you cannot regret
The chance to make the real difference
That joining the WCG presents
Step one is to register, download and install
Once done, there is an open invitation to y'all
(LOL, that has to be the simplest so far)
Join the dedicated team that we are
With members from Asia, Europe and the US
A young team that has made amazing progress
As can be seen below
So,
to reiterate
Be a teammate
Register, download, install here
Join Team Bravo there
Team stats up ahead, but first the reason for posting a Bravo post today
CONGRATULATIONS to Kiley
aka ariadneK, who yesterday reached the grand total of
300,000 points and 800 results
for the grid and the team!
As always, the rate at which this essentially small team is crunching is tremendous. In just 5 months of real time, we have between us donated over 7 years of computing time. Thanks all!!!
There are over 17,000 teams and among them we are well on our way to being in the top 1000 of all three categories. The categories are Total Run Time, Points Generated and Results Returned. In the mentioning of these figures, there is the tangible proof that every minute counts and with every result, we will be that much closer to finding what we seek: cures, treatments, knowledge that could potentially help us all.

Sweetest One, your support and promotion of our disease fighting team makes me smile. I've said it before and I'll say it again for all to see, there is no other like you.
Love,
Poppet
I made myself smile (read giggle) with this one. :-D Simple fact is there wouldn't be a team if it weren't for you, I'm just having a little fun with it. And maybe, just maybe I'll catch one today. :-)
Sweet and infinitely special man, good morning, Poppet, & happy day ahead, x
Your pompoms worked. Bulldogs victorious! Pictures posted.
Woooohooooo! Congratulations to C and his boys! :-) And now we get to see even more pictures over the next weeks.
Next Saturday they play for the league championship. Game today was the most exciting and hard fought of the season. Big plays, players hitting and fighting hard, score close, everything you would want in a great game. :-)
As always, it sounds as if you were having every bit as much fun as the players. :-D Pictures reflected this more or less, a ton of fun as well as what you wrote about fighting hard. One memorable one was when #1 was up ahead by himself with two relatively big guys from the other team to contend with, looked like his feet were anchored to the ground. :-D
Pompoms dusted and ready for next Saturday. A good team to back. :-)
I think they are going to need your help next week. Practice your moves and grease those hips. :-D
Will do!
And even make up a few extra special ones just for you. :-D
Will this be a public routine or one for doors locked? I'm open minded. :-D
It would come in two parts, risqué and raunchy, :-D, probably best to leave the second one for behind closed doors. Though I'm game if you are. ;-)
Absolutely marvellous post AS, so good so true!
Yeah whether in poetry or prose Team Bravo is the place to be.
My thanks once again to you and to Trée for the constant encouragement and support to each and every one of us. It's no mean feat getting round to everyone and then theres joint blogs between team members from people so inconsiderate as not to tell you that they are inadvertently making your job worse.
Hope you had a great day and the rest of your weekend is happy and fun!!!
The teaming up is a welcome addition to the pleasure that is the blogger walk, a little pocket of spice to kind of quote. :-) Thanks for the nice words, and thank you once again for not only joining but the enthusiasm that you have shown, not least in recruiting other members. Noticed some of them are starting to catch you up too. :-)
Hope you've had a marvellous day of it, at work and after hours. :-)
Dj Wilko up with me dad,
Saw your poem and just had to add,
That this really does say it all,
And I can see why it makes you feel proud and tall.
But I will leave you to be the poet! lol! I have just bought a new laptop and will try installing again WCG. I will do this within the week and hope that this time I will be a little more successful with the results returning to Team Bravo. I will use a different username so as not to confuse everybody including me but will inform Dad of this.
Take care and my Dad has assured me that if I have any problems with doing this then to contact you.
Dj Wilko
Tim, hey, it's so nice to meet you finally after having seen your name up on that scoreboard for a while now. :-)
Absolutely, though for anything complicated, I'll be running straight to the captain, but it really shouldn't be. The WCG has converted to Boinc, which means that this time when you download it will automatically direct you to what would have been a choice you would have had to have made yourself last time. It's still just as easy to complete the registration and download etc. You can choose a new name or you can simply sign in and it will basically lead you through the process of adding this other computer, in short, I tend to judge these things by if I found it easy or not, if I do find it easy, everyone else is bound to too, and I did, so good luck. After the change, just to add this detail, older computers that would not run the old agent have been able to run this one.
Have a great visit with your dad! Which by the looks of the time you swung by this way, you already are. :-) Take care, once again thanks for joining the team and good luck with registering the new laptop, and I hope that we see you about the place at some point again. :-)
Yeah and he's still in bed!! I'm off to work....Boo!
Have a great day AS!
:-D
Enjoy your day!
Your sidebar is looking better and better. :-D
You do make me smile. :-)
Today's addition is my favourite yet. :-) And yes, it has never looked better.
Yep... it is looking better and better! I just want to know when Tree is going to start naked video blog posting... ;-)
Good morning and a happy Sunday to you, gorgeous!!!
LOL, I never thought to ask that question, but I certainly am waiting to hear the answer. :-D
Happy Sunday to you too, my beloved ghato, xoxo
J, perhaps I already have. :-D
You are such a tease! ;-)
5...4...3...2..1..Roll my weekend!!
Enjoy your Sunday evening AS!
I might well be playing catch up with my sleep! Short and sweet with our Tim and when any of the Wilko boys are together the first thing to suffer is sleep!
But that's families isn't it?
Just as the rest of ours is drawing to a close. :-) Must be nice when you head out and about, less crowds at all those places one might go, mind you on the odd day that I have off during the week, I'm always surprised at how many other people are about. Glad you guys had such a nice time. :-) Sleep tight.
Morning AS a bit of a lie in for me this morning! Have a good day I'm off to face the crowds of peeps that are around on a Monday! LOL! They should be at work!!
UR DETERMINATION IS AMAZING!
Keshi.
Hope you were able to wade through them. I'm always surprised at just how busy the weekdays are about the place. Enjoy your evening. :-)
Hey Kesh, hope you had a good weekend. :-) Post after post, yep, and I probably won't quit until I've recruited everyone. ;-D
Yeah I was thanks! Hope you had a good day and have a good evening too AS!
Eastenders? No I guess not but I might tonight - play catch up I haven't seen it for weeks!!
Actually after catching wind of what is going on with the Beales this week, I'm going to be watching. :-D Thanks Simon, you too. Check you in a bit, xo
You are such a great person for all you do to promote this!! Am I surprised...not at all. I agree with tree...there IS no other like you.
As for the guys in my post..Dave on my right (with the long hair) is part of the house. In fact, I think he came with the house...hahaha! He's such a great guys and wonderful friend and OH SO MUCH FUN! The other guy Ross, haven't heard too much from him. I think he has too many hang ups and just stopped inviting him. Buzz kill....LMAO!
xoxo
Probably best anyway, I find it's generally more difficult to handle two. LOL Such a great picture, still my favourite to date of you, and that cheese hat, I have got to get me one of those!
Much too kind, these are just posts, nothing like a 3-day-walk for example. :-)
I disappear for a bit and you've changed on me!! But I like the new look. :o)
You're such a dedicated and caring person Autumn and I'm glad to call you a friend, virtual or otherwise.
Back attcha with a cherry on top.
Morning AS! Hope you have a great day and I know you've already been going for a couple of hours but it is still my day off you know!! I've got a busy one for a day off I'll be glad to go back to work tomorrow for a rest!!
Catch you later.
:-) Hope you've had a good one, Simon, I've got the feeling you are never still for very long at a time and are at your happiest when at your busiest. Happy evening ahead, Eastenders and all the rest of it.
I've had a great day thanks AS, voluntary work this morning got my first tattoo this afternoon and a Labour Party meeting this evening so Eastenders will hopefully be at 10 on BBC3 for me!
And on my day off so you are right!
Did you know that we have a tattoo designer in Team Bravo!! MMM will be posting a pic of the tat eventually on mine!!
The one a day blog and Jules lead in to the pic may just give the game away because that was posted as the tatt designer was on the phone to me!!!!!
Have a good evening sweet AS, I will send you a pic of my tat (E mail) a little later!!
Wow, you have been busy! And that's all I've got time to say for I have to rush over to 1aday for that clue. :-D
Hi AS. Tim here
Just to let you know mate that I have joined WCG again and have now installed it on my new laptop. My new username is djwilko1. I downloaded the application from your page and joined team Bravo within the application process and NOT from the link on your page. I hope this time my results get returned an the team can get to 2,000 000 points! I think we can do it before Crimbo!
Thank you for the advice that you left me and your kind words. Take care mate and speak soon
Tim
x
Sorry - It's Tim again!
Just to make sure - I have now just joined team using your link from your page and WCG notified me that I will leave the join the team that I originally signed up with (Bravo) and will join (Bravo)
lol! Probably pointless but wanting this time to be able to return my points! As points DO make prizes! (ebezp's t-shirt is a prime example!!!) lol!
Mind you I could always take it out of his t-shirt draw!!
Take care
Tim
x
Autumn - I'm chuckling as I see your poem - did you ever consider going into marketing? Your enthusiasm and determinedness is remarkable. I really like your style, your big heart and your post.
Thanks Terry. :-) Talk is one thing, can't really count Tim since he had already joined, so if someone really likes what they hear, at least enough to take a look at the links, which in turn should convince, and joins us, then I might consider that career in marketing. :-) Happy day ahead.
Tim, you are on the stats page under your new name and you should be able to see by running your mouse over the icon in your clock panel whether you are working on your first calculation. We will have to wait until you have returned your first result and the stats have been updated, to know for sure that you indeed are crunching for the team, but since you have a new computer and are now joined with the boinc agent, I really cannot see that there could be any mistake or problem to run into to. Fingers crossed, eh. Hugs to you, thanks again for joining us not once, but twice, for not just signing up but for being determined to actually returning some results. In the words of James Blunt, you're beautiful, and just for you, I shall have a think about another competition sooner rather than later. :-D
Take care, happy days ahead.
Sweetest, you are wise beyond your years, but beware, the Poppet is on to your ways. :-D
Tim, welcome again to Bravo. As my Sweetest One said, talk is cheap, but you my man, have taken action and taken it more than once. Thanks for joining, thanks for helping, thanks for doing something to make a difference.
I would say AS that you are already well involved in marketing, your dedication to our cause is outstanding and without you and Trée there would be no Team Bravo. So how good are you!!
Oh bring it on a competition that sees the Wilko boys go head to head!!
Have a great day AS and as indicated yesterday I'm going to work today for a rest!
Well, Simon, sweet of you to say, still would be nice if more joined, but as we stand we have a fan*tastic team, that's something we can all see via those stats. :-) And all credit to the captain, without whom there of course wouldn't be a team Bravo, since he created it, but also some or all of us would not have known there was such a thing as the WCG.
Have a great day at work! See you around later, out of time so put the kettle on for about 6pm. ;-)
PS Watch this space regarding a new competition, sounds like Tim would give you a run for your money so to speak. :-) Sounds like a ton of fun in other words.
Thinking cap on as I hi-ho.
Sorry I'm late!! Turned out rather busy after all!! Late start this morning and never caught up you know how it is?! Now got to get around all my friends so just whizzing by, may see you later!
Enjoy the rest of your evening AS
Late mornings are always that way, feels as if one trying to catch up that lost time all day long. Have a great evening too, Simon. :-)
Sunshine, sweet dreams. For your morning serenade, I present Ingrid Michaelson singing
The Way I Am
If you were falling, then I would catch you.
You need a light, I'd find a match.
Cuz I love the way you say good morning.
And you take me the way I am.
If you are chilly, here take my sweater.
Your head is aching, I'll make it better.
Cuz I love the way you call me baby.
And you take me the way I am.
I'd buy you Rogaine when you start losing all your hair.
Sew on patches to all you tear.
Cuz I love you more than I could ever promise.
And you take me the way I am.
You take me the way I am.
You take me the way I am.
:-)
Bless that uncommonly sweet hide of yours, Poppet, thank you for the song and for the smile currently stretching the corners of my mouth about as far as they will go.
Sweet dreams, my lovely, I would reciprocate, but all I can think of at this moment is Annie. :-)
Good Morning AS.
Hope you have a great day, trying not to make myself late today so limiting myself wherever I go and because I can't any longer post comments from work I'm keeping things a bit short!!
:-)
I'm somewhat relieved I cannot spend time in the 'sphere while at work, I would probably have a hard time doing anything else. :-D
Have a good day!
Trouble is there is then so much to catch up on when you do get in and posts are going to have to be at different times and as for the blog that I was doing in work for work and local peeps has been scrapped - serves them right!! I have no time to do it at home so they lose out!!
Anyway I hope you've had a good day AS I've been busy but am still so buzzing that I'm leathal!!
These weeks just get better and better!! Just down to a handful of individuals spread across Europe, the Uk and Canada!!
Good night AS, see you tomorrow!
hey Autumn!
Wud love to know ur thoughts on my current topic :)
Keshi.
Kesh, on my way. :-)
Morning Simon. :-) Have a buzzing Friday!
I'll do my best Autumn! Take care.
I have absolutely no idea how it got to 11.15....yeah I know tic toc tic toc the usual way really!!
Different medium tonight though been on the phone most of the night. You know we were saying the other night about time differences well it's way worse on the phone isn't it?!
I've just done 2 international calls back to back one +2 the other -7!! I was asked on the second one why I was saying night night when it's only 3.30 in the afternoon?! Bloody good question really!! OOPS!
At least I know I can say that to you without being questioned about my tone!!
Night night Autumn and welcome to your weekend!!
Can your heart handle a double feature? I'll get the coffee started. No need to get out of bed, I'll bring the show to you. :-D
Morning Autumn, have a great Saturday!
Poppet, I wasn't sure, but I went anyway. :-D Just read both, going to drink some of that serious coffee that you make and then once I have my heart under control, spend some time with them. :-) Wishing you dreams as sweet as you are, my fabulously inventive and talented capitan, x
Simon, thank you, you too, hope you have a great day at work. I'll take a look around the four corners of your place while you are gone, make sure everything is buzzing along nicely. :-)
Double feature, Tree? I know I must have missed something earlier in the conversation, but now you've got my mind workin' overtime!!! ;-D
Hey gorgeous! Hope you are having a most wonderful Saturday!!!
:-D
Hey sweetie, hope you will too! XOXO
Thanks for keeping your eyes on mine AS that was nice of you, just put some hairy orange animals on the photoblog too! Oh busy day at work just going to chill and watch the rugby.
Matt's watching it on tv in France and my sis has gone over to see it live!!
Enjoy your evening AS.
I really need to start keeping abreast of what's going on in the sporting world just so that I will know what games you sports fans are talking about. :-) The enthusiasm and excitement, I've said before, makes me wish I were a part of it. Problem is my loyalties lie with Denmark, they are who have my very real cheers come the big international events, but they are really only any good at four sports, handball, cycling, badminton and football. And some of those have had their glory days, though of course we shall see them again. Ooh, and table tennis too. :-D
Anyways, thanks, hope your team wins and you too!
Thanks for the news about Tim he certainly deserves to be crunching along with us doesn't he?
You are wonderful how you keep a watching brief over my sites and Team Bravo stuff comment on so many sites.
I've just posted on the one a day and me and Jules love that photo that you put in the comments box that we would like to take that as the first submission of pics to us as we want to post occasionally from other peeps! If you agree then we'll let you know when it's going to be posted and we'll give a shout out to this site and of course Team Bravo!!
Enjoy whats left of your Sunday AS. See you tomorrow!
Sure thing, Simon, I'd be honoured, though it's not half as pretty as the one Jules herself posted. And Bravo shout outs are always very welcome! :-)
It's great to have Tim along with us in every which way now, made my evening. :-)
Thanks, enjoy yours too, and the next two days.
Morning! Shows how slow I am when you can go to SaffronSaris on consecutive Fridays without a single reply comment from me to any of the comments there ;P
Have a great week ahead :D
:-D
So long as you did what I asked, Saff, it's all good. :-) Coming week too, xo
Good Morning Autumn.
Have a great day I'm going to be busy today despite being off but hopefully not as busy as I have been on recent days off!!
All posts up and it's only 9am at least I'm not nanny netted at home!
Hi Autumn hope you are having a great day!
My day is good, well I am off!!
I got a text out of the blue from Josie and was able to have a look at her comp. She's fiddled about with her grid and her membership of Bravo and it is showing that she is crunching and has had 2 results returned but I can't tell where the points have gone!!
She had discovered that herself but do we just wait and see if they come to Bravo or what? She has quit as josie w and rejoined as JOSIEW but I don't know if that is just confusing everything!
Wouldn't it be good if our Tim and Jo got it together the same week, oh crunching I mean!!
Any advice that springs immediately to mind oh learned one!!
Have a good evening!
Hey Simon, good to hear you are having a good day off. :-)
Okay, let's see, (hopefully Trée will see this and edit if needed) firstly since Josie joined the grid now automatically assigns the Boinc agent. However if she has rejoined, presumably she deleted the whole program from her system and started over again. In any case, if she has the old or the new, she can double click on the icon in the clock panel to view her various details. Presumably again, from what you are saying, she has done so and has learned that she has returned two results. What she then needs to do is to make sure that the name here matches the one that she has on her current profile, i.e. JOSIEW. If the two names do not match then although she is crunching and returning results for the WCG (wooohoooo! on the fact that she is up and running and is helping the cause), which is the main thing, her points are credited to the name in her panel and not the one on the memberslist.
In short, since she is crunching and returning results, then all is as it should be in regards to the agent and her communication with the WCG.
If the name displayed with her agent (double click icon to open) is different from the one under which she joined the team, then though the points are good, they are not on the scoreboard for the team.
Hope that made sense. :-)
I'll check you in a little bit, Simon, updates on 4 blogs, you are good. Enjoy your evening. All eyes on Jane. :-)
Morning! Looks like whatever's been done has succeeded! Woooo good week hey!!
Happy Tuesday Autumn!!
Happy Tuesday missy!
Keshi.
Good morning there Ms. Autumn ;o) Just running through here quick before I leave for work and did want to leave without saying hello to you!
xo
Simon, I saw that this morning and time ran away from me before I had a chance to pop on over to you. A good week indeed! :-)
Happy Tuesday Kesh. :-)
Jillie, so good to see you, and sounding so cheerful, will be over to check, but I'm hoping that means things are going well for Cay. Hugs to you, have a good day, xo
I texted her earlier to tell her!!
Amazing what a good fiddle can do!! I've always said that! Just my luck for her to come here and read that!! Will you hide me?!
Hope you had a good day AS and just 15 mins to the next E.enders!!
Oh btw I think you might like the 1 a day today!!
Have a good evening!!
:-D
You too, Simon!
hey girl - miss me!! I have been out of it in the blog world but a blogger friend inspired me to post today.
Coffee brewing. Our off-white cups clean and shiny. Two chairs of hand craved wood sit octogenarian-couple silent in twilight warm and golden. Come join me and I'll tell you a story or two, if you have the time that is. ;-)
I've always got time for you and wouldn't miss one of your stories for all the coffee beans in the world. :-)
Hey Jodes, good to see you back. :-) Be over in a bit, if not enough time this morning, later tonight. Happy day ahead. xo
Sweetest, what would I do with your three beautiful blogs. In an ideal world, I could spend all day between them.
In my excitement to see you up early, I mistyped. That should read "without."
Morning dear. Did you miss me? :-)
How does Italian roast sound this morning? And then maybe lunch on a Greek isle?
Or, we could head to the cottage for a little peace and quiet. I feel a need to escape to a place where real is real and honest is honest, where skin embraces skin as sun on sand and surf in air. Join me?
Miss you, always. Coffee, perfect. Lunch, like there is nothing I would rather do. :-)
You know, what I would love. Besides actually watching you create your stories, instant access. Alarms that rang at night to wake me, alarms that rang during the day, whatever I was doing. :-)
What I would like is to walk out of a mountain cabin and onto the dock at The Garden and see you striking that pose. You did promise. :-)
Oh, and I think I'll bring more than just my camera, equipment wise that is.
And this cabin, it's a COW free zone too. :-D
Just in case I haven't said it lately, I do Love You Sweetest. :-)
I would pass over lunch in Greece to see you against the backdrop of the cottage once again, but I would forego the cottage to see your equipment on that pier. I want to do all of those, one by one.
By the way, on the way to C's banquet, I envisioned a very powerful scene with Tom and John. I could have wet myself I got so excited.
Tell you what, I'll bring Norah and you bring James and we'll meet you at the cottage. How soon can you get away?
Adore you against the backdrop of the cottage, where everything is so still and peaceful and would be full of old memories intertwining with new ones created.
Oh, and bring your pearl and I'll bring mine. :-D
LOL, being bowled over here by all these perfect scenes that you are setting. Can't tell you how I long to see the inside of that cabin and take a walk in the mountains and spend some time at that lake, an afternoon stretched, out on that pier, out into timelessness.
I vote the cabin this time, cottage next time.
And I vote Norah first, as darkness closes in and the wood burns in the fireplace, those magic tones just like the warmth of the fire filling every corner and seeping into the wood.
More perfect still if there were a tin roof and big goblets of rain to beat down upon it. :-D
Perfect. Autumn is in the air, the leaves are changing to hues red and orange and gold, and I have a copy of the book of letters. Would you like to lay in my lap as I read a few to you?
I'd pour you a glass of red while you write that chapter about Tom. :-)
Now there it is, there is perfection. :-D
By the way, the letters are superb when read to the score of The Death of Falstaff--two pieces for strings (Passacaglia)
We can cry together, smile together, with Von, with Ceru.
I'll let you man the CD player, another of your great talents, knowing the perfect score. :-)
Joyous tears in tune to the falling rain. Step outside with me on the porch and breath in the rich mountain air. Wrap your arm around my waist as lovers do, your sweater entwined with mine, softness pressing into hardness.
Not familiar with that piece, long to hear it now with the words of Ceru floating thereon.
:-) You make me smile and that is just in the description, in the knowing that I would rather do this than anything else, in the beauty of your words that would make me want to do this more than anything else.
And that was in reference to the book of letters.
Leonard Slotkin and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. They do a very nice job. Now hug me and be quiet. :-D
Okay.
:-D
Ceru wrote of walks in the green rolling hills as the seasons changed hands and the great circle of life bowed before his pensive gait. The letters are so touching, like ice wine, they can only be read in small doses. The emotional punch is devastating. In a good way. :-)
Good, that means we will have to stay longer, spend more time with him, savouring each part completely before moving on. Wine and the mountains and silence when his words are loudest, and being able to share a thought about him whenever it comes.
He writes of soft mornings in light quiet, of the songs of birds as strings in prep, of words that talk and not just speak. He sips the cool waters flowing from ancient forests to the verdant meadows of doe and deer. And in every word a love is seen between father and son few touch.
Now, ssshhh, let me just enjoy the feel of your skin beneath my finger tips and hardness pressing against softness. :-) Love you, sweet dreams, I'll be daydreaming of the ideal cabin and that garden lake. :-)
Good Morning - don't stop on my account I was so enjoying that, just to wish you (both) a great day!
Evening, Simon, hope you have/will too. :-)
Hi Autumn yeah not a bad day at all, thanks but I think I'm going to miss E.enders tonight hasn't it been good....woo well for E.enders its been good.
Even Ian's actings been ok!!
Might just go out and take some horribly light polluted night pictures!!
Have a great evening!
You picked the best night for it, Simon, since it's Wednesday, no Eastenders on Wednesdays. :-D
Have fun!
Hi
Blogger is being an absolute arse tonight! Thanks for trying before I guess you might have more luck if you try again!!
We will be putting your pic on the 1aday on Monday ok? I'll remind you again beforehand. But if you want to write a blurb for it could you E me with it?
Hope you are having a good evening despite no E.enders!!
Had some trouble posting comments tonight, long time since blogger has had issues but at least they are always sorted out relatively quickly. I'll check on you now, otherwise I'll try again tomorrow.
That picture was taken in Kota Bahru in Malaysia, and not nearly as lovely as the one that Jules posted, I'm sure I could find you something better if that idea appeals.
Have a good night. :-)
Look out for next week, I might be able to put out something then.
I know, I know, I still haven't gotton round to be part of team bravo.....:(
If and when you have 5 minutes to spare, Saff. :-)
Look forward to your post, happy day ahead, xo
Good Morning AS. Happy Thursday!!
Have a good day!
Same to you, Simon, thanks. :-)
Saffy, as Autumn said, to install the small screensaver-like device takes less than five minutes. Once installed (and you join Bravo, which is one click of one button) there is nothing else you do. I don't know of another project to help find cures for diseases that requires less effort, time and money than this one. Between my old team and this one, over the last three and a half years I've had more than twenty different computers contributing to the cause for a combined total time exceeding twenty-two years. I mention that for one reason: this program is safe and secure to run.
I hope you will decide to give the scientists working to find cures from everything from MD to cancer to AIDS five minutes of your time. I hope you will join us. The points you see Autumn posting are just for competitive fun, a way to playfully engage contribution and enjoy the crunching and folding process. The real work is seen in the results sent back. Each one has the potential to unlock a protein or molecule, in a unique combination that leads to the next drug that you or I or our children will take when we are ill, drugs that today don't exist. That is the power of participating, a chance to make a difference that matters--and all the program asks of you is five minutes.
If I'm not being clear, let me say it this way: Saffy, I'm asking you to join us. Today.
Hear, hear.
And here here from me too! Pressures on Saffi!!!
Hi Autumn, wow that was a busy one, but buzzy....still?! Your pic is going on Monday and we'd love you to dig out another one for us some time soon, we haven't exactly been overun with pics I must say!!!
Thanks for your comments on mine over the last few days on days that seem to me and to Jules exceptionally slow in blogland it's always nice to have some regular visits isn't it?
Answering a few comments around and about then it's an early one for me! Catch you in the morning Autumn, night night!
Simon, 1aday seems to be doing very well indeed given it's a new blog, :-), so even if some days are quiet, you can most definitely consider it successful in that way. More importantly, you guys look like you are having a lot of fun with it. :-)
Have a buzzing Friday!
Thanks AS it's great and such fun and Jules is wonderful, I think its everywhere a bit quiet. Time of year or whatever!!
Good morning btw, have a great day, oh and a heads up!

The divine "M", I'll have to share that with her, how she will love that. :-D Things are good here, Jillie, she is on a week's holiday this week and looking forward to not having to travel up and down each day and just being out of school, as kids most often are. :-)

Hi Autumn, hope you've had a great day it's been a bit chaotic one way or another and then the lads were robbed by an Aussie video referee!!
Now blogger is playing up again for me!!
Hey ho!!
Just another day!
That's a shame, England, I hadn't heard. Good thing these things come around again, better luck next time.
After all that chaos, let's hope you have a peaceful evening. If that's what you want of course. :-)
Yeah shame about the Rugby so we've just got Lewis Hamilton today then....
Happy Sunday Autumn (and Happy Monday too)

Woohoo, thank you Poppet. :-D Quite a few milestones passed recently for many team members, some big ones up ahead too for many others. From strength to strength, so wonderful it is to watch. :-)
Thanks Kesh. :-)
Oh the Guinness and the company were excellent thanks AS!
Just to let you know I'm back and will attempt to get all sorted by later on, but this is my first venture in to blogland and you'd think I'd been away for two weeks, not two days!!
Enjoy the rest of your day and I'll hopefully get back to you later!!
Just wanted to say your love of the story and your comments going back to early chapters thrills me to no end. Might need to go back and re-read it too. :-)
:-) Morning Poppet. Have so enjoyed going back to the beginning, and it isn't the first time either that I have been drawn to do so, in short and as said, I can highly recommend it. A great gift you have, a greater gift you give when you share it. Feel very fortunate to have received. :-)
Glad to hear that, Simon! :-) Must have been hard to leave the Emerald Isle, I imagine it is impossibly captivating, and you even like Guinness, so it had to have been all the more so.
Thanks, & you too!
Hi, only been away a day and come back and the Queen Vic is trashed!
Found this in Dublin and thought of you!
:-D Love it!
Sounds like a great name for a regular feature, like the lady who spoke to me for a half hour about jelly outside the library or the fire fighter with the biggest grin I have ever seen. Hmm... :-D
Look forward to seeing lots of photos from the trip! Get to do any jigging? :-)
hv a supa dupa Wednesday Autumn! :)
Keshi.
I'll do my very best. :-)
You're hitting it before me so pave the way in that same spirit, xo
Have a great Wednesday Autumn, catch you later!
